Jennifer Legacy, P.T. Jennifer Legacy, PT
I graduated from UVM in 2002 with BS in physical therapy. My interest in physical therapy began when I was a runner at Lyndon Institute with recurrent leg injuries and became a physical therapy patient. I learned that I could help people feel better and work in health care without having to use needles! I have worked in subacute rehab and long term care, but my passion is working in an outpatient orthopedic setting and I have been in outpatient physical therapy since 2004. My goal as a physical therapist is to help as many people as I can feel better and to teach people about their bodies. Outside the clinic I spend as much time as possible with my children; Madison and Colin, and enjoying the VT outdoors.

Benjamin McCormack, P.T. Benjamin McCormack, PT
Hi, my name is Ben McCormack and I began practicing as a physical therapist in 1999 after graduating from the University of Vermont. As an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist my specialties include sports medicine and industrial rehabilitation. I received my certification in ergonomic evaluation 7 years ago, and since then I have acted as a consultant for several large corporations throughout Northeastern Vermont. This ergonomic work has lead me underneath oily, million dollar machines, into the courtroom as an expert witness, and to the top of telephone poles. However, my true passion and purpose is at the clinic helping patients overcome their physical barriers. Nothing excites me more than seeing a patient achieve their number one goal.

Emily Emily Michaud, DPT

I graduated from Husson University in Maine in May 2011. I am really excited to work with patients that need help dealing with their physical challenges. My clinical interests are in women's health issues and sports medicine.

I recently purchased a house and look forward to becoming part of the community. I spend a lot of time outdoors; fishing, running, and hiking.

Anthony Sgherza, PT
Anthony Sgherza has joined our team at Northern PT. We are very pleased to have Anthony come aboard. Anthony has a wide berth of knowledge and experience that will add to our clinic and help us with our goal of helping more patients get physically healthier and enjoy life.

Anthony is an Associate Professor at Lyndon State College in the Exercise Science Department. He is also a Certified Athletic Trainer, and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He is also currently working at Xtra Innings Performance, a Personal Training facility in Lyndonville.

Anthony lives in Cabot with his wife. He enjoys all the outdoor adventures Vermont has to offer, especially riding The Kingdom Trails.

If you have any patients that need help, Anthony is here to offer just that!

Emily Matt Breton, PT, OCS, CSCS

I grew up in the NEK, and I left to join the US Army and to get my education. After completing my time in service to our country, after a tour overseas, I decided there was no place like home and returned so I could enjoy all the things this beautiful area has to offer.

I chose physical therapy as a career once I realized, early in life, that I wasn't going to be a professional athlete.

Being a P.T. allows me to work with athletes of all types, whether your event is climbing the stairs or running a marathon. I believe the human body is capable of amazing things; I look forward to assisting people achieve their full potential.

I graduated from Lyndon State College in December, 2010, with a degree in Business Administration. I have always lived in the NEK, which is perfect because I have a passion for horses. I own two horses, two dogs, and two cats - all of which take up most of my spare time. I enjoy outdoor activities such as running, hiking, and biking.
